You know what I enjoy as a blog reader? Consistency. Predictability. Something to look forward to.
I'm kind of like a toddler in that regard.
Some of my favorite blogs have consistent features that I enjoy immensely. Hollywood Housewife does fantastic friday links, and I always enjoy her Mommy Mondays. Progressive Pioneer consistently features a Friday Make and Do. Amy at Mom Advice does a great job with features like Amy's Notebook each Wednesday, and Stephanie constantly serves up Tuesday Tours at Metropolitan Mama. Marla Taviano has Swirly Saturday and Word Sabbath, and I always grin really big at Christine's Magical Milk Pic-o-the-Week at Welcome to my Brain . net.
And there are many more.
So yeah, it makes me a happy reader.
My love of structure is trying to entice my structure-resistant side by whispering sweet nothings of how a little blogging structure might make me a happier writer next year.
But I'm kind of drawing a blank.
