Goodness, friends. October is just a'dwindling.
Before the days run out on the month, I wanted to share a big, heartfelt thank you to those who partnered with me in supporting SortaCrunchy in October:

I feel like I personally have learned so much from her about the practice of yoga. I know I've said this before but I have to tell you one more time: this post on Savasana and relaxation has made an incredible difference in my life as I work through the daily pressure of manuscript writing. I feel like I owe her so much for teaching that to me! Her other yoga posts include some helpful encouragement as well as visual instruction.
I love reading about her parenting journey and the books and resources that are useful to her as she begins the journey of positive discipline. I happen to know she has some pretty cool stuff planned to launch after the start of the new year. Keep on eye on this one! She's doing great work through her online community.
Also, from the sidebar you may have noticed a link to Small Bird Vintage. This cute NEW shop is owned by a long-time SortaCrunchy reader: Sarah of Small Bird on Fire. She just opened up her vintage shop this month, and she was kind enough to trust me with helping her spread the word. Included in her current listings, you'll see some sweet vintage housewares as well as some fun vintage clothing. I am absolutely drooling over this blouse. It's totally my size and I love the pink and yellow. If someone doesn't snatch this up, it may find a new home in my closet.
Like I said, her shop is brand new, but I've gotten to know Sarah's aesthetic through her blog and I have no doubt that soon it will be full to the brim with very, very cool treasures.
Finally, what is this about the rebounding?
Are you familiar with this form of exercise? I have to admit that I wasn't, but after I watched this video at Mama Natural, I have to say I was super intrigued. If you don't already know Genevieve of Mama Natural fame, hold on tight because you have been missing out. This lady is so fun and adventurous and you'll be getting to know a lot more about her here at SortaCrunchy in November.

I have to tell you that earlier this week, when all there was a collective ruffling of feathers over Klout adjusting its thing with the deal-o (yes, I do believe those are the technical terms), I just sat back and smiled. The people who partner with me at SortaCrunchy are not the brands who care one little bit about Klout rankings or Top Ten Lists or whatever. They are real people with real messages and real dreams. I can't believe I've waited so long to engage in private sponsorship support of SortaCrunchy! It is so rewarding and fulfilling to support people, not corporations and messages, not national brands.
I love it.
