One of the more challenging parts of moving to a gluten-free and/or grain-free diet for the whole family is finding snacks on the go - especially for kiddos. I guess it's kind of obvious how much I relied on Goldfish crackers as a staple snack for out and about! And since we try to do very little processed food these days, the girls have really been missing their fruit snacks.
Well - tada! In last week's YGR links, I found this recipe for homemade fruit snacks from Emily of the pastor and the bartender (which, how fun is THAT for a blog name?!):
As soon as I can get my hands on some gelatin, we are so making these. How perfect they will be for after-school I'm-STARVING-must-eat-all-the-things snacks! Thank you, Emily!
So, now it's your turn:
Just a few things to remember as you share your green living links - OLD OR NEW - with us each week:* Make sure to link to the post with your green/natural/frugal living idea - not your homepage.
* We would love it if you could spread the word about Your Green Resource to YOUR readers by linking back to one of the six hostesses. Posts with a link back to Your Green Resource are the posts eligible to be pinned to our Your Green Resource pinboard each week.
* Your Green Resource is a GREAT way to connect with other like-minded bloggers. Check out the other links shared this week - it's a great way to grow your own blogging community!
